Why Join as an Associate?

The NSW civil infrastructure industry is undergoing an unprecedented boom. BIS Oxford Economics have forecast that from 2019 a staggering $200 billion will be spent in the NSW civil industry over the next 10 years.

If this is your market, or you see it as an opportunity, then you should be a Member of the industry’s peak body – a privilege which comes with exclusive access to the Contractor Members who are your potential customers.

Our Contractor Members guard their patronage studiously, and look to form commercial relationships with people and businesses that understand their industry and are willing to support it.

Many CCF NSW events can only be attended if you are an Associate Member. To advertise with us you must be an Associate Member. To be an annual sponsor you must be an Associate Member.

Associate Membership tells our industry that you are supporting it and that you share the same values. Is that a good message for your business to send to your customers and potential customers?

Our Annual Fees for Associate Membership are fixed, irrespective of the size of your business.

As most Associates wish to market in geographic areas across NSW, most join as a Level 2 Associate. We do however have Level 1 Membership which permits attendance at events only in the regional area of the Head Office (must be outside Sydney) and prohibits advertising in any area outside the area.

The Membership Fee is annual, and your invoice anniversary will always be the date you complete the online application. 

A once-off Induction Fee applies on joining to cover the cost of inducting you into the services you receive as a Member - the fee is automatically added to your invoice. After you join we will have key roles within our team contact you to ensure you are maximising the benefits you have. For example, your member login details; your listing in our Find a Business online directory; the contact addresses for your eNews and Bulletin magazine, and a snapshot of our upcoming events. The Induction Fee covers this effort.

We never discount our Fees, because they are great value as they are and, as a not-for-profit organisation ‘owned’ by our Members, we don’t inflate the prices first, so we can then discount them.

According to our Constitution, these Fees can rise only by a maximum of CPI each year, unless a General Meeting of the Members of CCF NSW vote it so.
