WOMEN IN CIVIL
CCF NSW launched the Women in Civil Program in 2017, in order to encourage more women to join and remain in the Civil Infrastructure Industry. The CCF NSW Women in Civil Program consists of six elements, including the Mentoring Program that is about to launch its fifth round!
We are also very excited to announce that we have released our 50by50 vision for the NSW civil construction industry. On the 19th October 2021 we submitted to the NSW Government a Proposal to significantly expand the Program. Click the link to find out about this and more!
VETERANS IN CIVIL
Ex-Service men and women are highly skilled, extremely adaptive, and come with an outstanding work ethic. The civil industry, being very process and compliance focused, is a great alignment for these amazing people.
The CCF NSW Veterans in Civil Program encourages more Vets to join the industry, and to inform and support employers in the Vet recruiting process.
THE INSTITUTE OF CIVIL INFRASTRUCTURE
The Institute of Civil Infrastructure provides civil-specific short-course training solutions for leading hands, supervisors, engineers, managers and leaders. Created by the industry for the industry the courses offered cover technical, people, and business management issues. The Institute allows employers to manage quickly and at very low cost their skill gap risks while also creating a significant point of difference as an employer of choice.
The Institute is Australia’s only industry run Continual Professional Development specific to the Civil Industry. Individuals can achieve recognised standards that strengthen and sustain the industry.
